How it all works
This website has been built around your needs as a customer and we have tried to streamline the ordering process as much as possible. We have provided a secure payment gateway using Paypal, arguably the largest online payment provider in the world.

Pricing is valid only at the time of quoting. We reserve the right to alter prices without notice. We may, at our discretion, allow a quote from a previous point in time to be accepted.

File naming and compression
We receive hundreds of files each day so sorting through them can become quite a task. You can help us by giving your files a name that is unique and matches the brand or the person's name that is featured in the job. Once you have all your files ready to submit, please archive or ZIP the files as it will reduce their size and speed up the order process.

File formats supported
We prefer EPS, AI, TIFF, JPEG and PDF.

We also gladly accept Microsoft Word and Publisher files. Please note that we might need to contact you for extra information, or ask you to check a PDF proof just to confirm that we have prepared your file correctly.

Color, dpi and bleed
AstroPrint requires all submitted files to be in CMYK colour. We will happily convert any RGB, Index or Duotone files that we notice during our checking process. If we have converted colours for you, we do not accept any responsibility for colour variation that may occur.

All artwork needs to include bleed, as indicated in the product description when you order. If you are unsure of how to prepare your files with bleed, feel free to contact us, or check the AstroBlog for a tutorial on how to do this in your design program of choice.

All artwork must be a minimum of 300dpi.

AstroPrint will print artwork as supplied and does not accept any responsibility for errors or colour variations if files have not been supplied according to the above guidelines.

Black Ink
We realise that some jobs (and some clients) will require a very solid black by adding a combination of cyan, magenta and yellow as well as the standard black ink. When this is the case, we do not recomend more than 300% total ink density, and we suggest you thoroughly research the appropriate mix before submitting your file. AstroPrint will not accept responsibility for custom blacks that are too dense and cause poor print quality, or blacks that are the wrong tint due to an incorrect mix of cyan, magenta or yellow.

Proofs and dispatching
Due to the speed in which we operate (in order to meet our 7 day promise to you) we do not provide proofs. We rely on you to thoroughly check your job for accuracy before sending it to us for print. We cannot accept responsibility for jobs that aren't checked properly.

One of the joys of being an online business is that we can be there for you whenever you need us. You can submit your files to us 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.

Can you do smaller quantities?
To bring you the best prices, we print in bulk, and our print suppliers often cannot allow us to order in smaller quantities than those that are featured on our site. With offset printing, it is extremely uneconomical to print fewer than 250 or 500, depending on the job.

That said, we are always happy to hear your query. So, if you have a request for a smaller job, contact us and we'll see what we can arrange.

What do I do if I cannot find the product I am looking for?
If you can't find the product that you are looing for within our standard range of products, don't worry. We can arrange a quote according to your specific requirements. Just send us a quote request through our quote request page.
